Product description

The HOOP table lamp, developed by French designer Antoine Rouzeau, is a loyal companion inside or outside. Its high water tightness (IP54) combined with a long life battery (up to 40 hours with one charge) make for a variety of possible applications. The light, shining out of the bottom of the oval ring (HOOP) creates a pleasing mood. If pre-set or steplessly variable, the touch-sensitive button on the top side of the lamp allows to choose between various levels of brightness. The battery is charged through a simple magnetic connection. The red or green light color indicates the charging process.

About

After receiving a degree in architecture, French designer Antoine Rouzeau started his career with leading architects, among them award-winning Jean Nouvel.

Today, Antoine Rouzeau is part of the architectural team at Musée d'Orsay while also running his own design studio in Paris. He has created a number of functional and well-crafted designs for the modern home, primarily lamps and shelving systems – two product categories that suit the young designer and his fondness for spatial design and architecture well. The Hoop lamp is the first product designed by Antoine Rouzeau for blomus.
