Life is constantly changing – and so are the spaces we live in. The new GROVA outdoor collection by Kazushige Miyake reflects this idea right in its name. GROW (representing growth) and NOVA (representing new) form the name of the collection, expressing what GROVA stands for: furniture that adapts, grows with you, and continually redefines outdoor spaces.
GROVA is modular, versatile, and open to change. The collection consists of a single-seater module and a pouf module, which can be used individually or combined into larger seating landscapes. This allows you to create exactly the configuration that fits your outdoor space – whether it’s an inviting lounge in the garden or a flexible relaxation area on the balcony or terrace. Each module is based on a square shape that can be combined like building blocks.
With GROVA, Miyake pursues the goal of bringing the familiar comfort of classic indoor furniture outdoors. His design concept is based on a clear, linear geometry that integrates effortlessly into various outdoor settings while turning seating comfort itself into a visible design element. The cubic shapes, calm surfaces, and pronounced upholstery details reflect his philosophy of creating furniture that radiates clarity from every angle while becoming a quiet part of its surroundings.

Construction & Comfort
The GROVA modules are specially developed for outdoor use. They combine durable materials with careful craftsmanship, ensuring that comfort and longevity go hand in hand. Each module consists of an outer shell, made from high-quality olefin fabric, and inner chambers filled with a stable and shape-retaining foam core.
To create the same soft, inviting seating experience as indoors, GROVA features a double-layer construction: the foam core provides a balanced combination of stability and comfort, forming a reliable foundation for long-lasting seating comfort outdoors.
A special detail is the softly padded memory-foam cushion on top, which ensures pleasant and relaxed seating comfort by adapting to the body.
The gently curved backrest supports a natural and relaxed posture.

Ro Fabric
The new fabric Ro – whose name means ""calm"" or ""peace"" in Danish – combines a modern look with high durability. The olefin fabric is, of course, resistant to weather conditions, water-repellent, and pleasantly soft to the touch.
The three carefully selected modern color tones – Beige, Zinc, and Amber Brown – blend harmoniously into any environment. At the same time, the colors of the individual modules can be combined as desired, allowing for unique outdoor landscapes tailored to your personal style.

Base
The underside of each module is equipped with a robust premium base that protects the inner textile layer and supports quick drying. An integrated compartment allows for the easy attachment of base plates and furniture feet.

Zipper
The outer covers are fitted with high-quality YKK zippers, known for their durability and reliability. A built-in zipper garage allows the zipper to be safely tucked away, protecting both the material and terrace surfaces.

Modular Connection Options
To connect GROVA modules flexibly, each module can be equipped with a specially designed base plate and furniture feet. These increase stability and prevent water from collecting underneath the module.
The base plate is inserted into a compartment on the underside of the module, while the feet are then attached from the outside. Additional furniture connectors allow the modules to be linked together in various configurations.
To connect the modules, you will need:

Shipping
Thanks to vacuum-packed parcel shipping, the GROVA modules can be reduced to a compact size and delivered to your home – without the need for a
freight carrier or professional assembly team. The vacuum-packed modules should not be stored for more than 10 months. After unpacking, we recommend
gently shaking the modules and then allowing them to rest for 72 hours so the material can fully unfold. This ensures optimal shape and maximum comfort
for each GROVA module. If your module shows any wrinkles after 72 hours, it can be carefully treated with a steamer, keeping the temperature below 100°C.
