Product description
Made from synthetic fiber, the GROVA base plate provides the foundation for attaching the furniture feet, which are installed from the outside. Together with additional furniture connectors, GROVA modules can be joined and arranged into a customized seating configuration. The base plate, furniture feet, and furniture connectors are required as separate components.
With its Wood Black color, the base plate blends discreetly into the stool module’s overall design. The design was created by Kazushige Miyake and is coordinated with the modular concept of the GROVA series.

About
Japanese designer Kazushige Miyake (b. 1973) graduated from Tama Art University in Tokyo with a specialization in design. He then began his career as a product designer in Great Britain before returning to Japan in 1999.
In 2005, he founded his own design studio. Today, Miyake Design is synonymous with clear and functional product design, from lounge chairs to suitcases, always with the discerning consumer in mind. Miyake favors simplicity and straightforwardness in his designs, and believes that every object has its own form.
This form is not limited to its physical presence, but also includes the aura or atmosphere that surrounds the object and its effect on those who use it.

Care Instruction:
The cushion covers are machine washable at 30 °C. Before washing, the filling should be carefully removed through the zipper. Please note that the module covers are not machine washable.
For optimal care of your GROVA furniture collection and cushions, we also offer our MEDA cleaning and care products for outdoor textiles (31058, 31059). Stains and unpleasant odors can be easily removed with the MEDA cleaner. After cleaning, we recommend applying the MEDA waterproofing spray, which helps maintain the original water- and dirt-repellent properties of the outdoor fabric. In particular, the seams—subject to greater wear through use—are protected from moisture penetration. With regular care, your GROVA products remain resistant to various weather conditions, mold formation is prevented, and durability is extended over the long term.
