Product description
Set of 2 Champagne Coupes – BELO – Color: Smoke – Capacity: 200 ml: The champagne coupes combine a softly rounded silhouette with an expressive color contrast. The generously sized glass bowls are fully colored in Smoke, while the clear stems create an elegant visual accent. With a capacity of 200 ml each, the two glasses are ideal for stylishly serving champagne and other sparkling wines—from festive receptions to raising a toast together over dinner.
The cut and polished rim provides a precise finish and accentuates the soft shaping. Fine flow lines, small bubbles, and slight variations in the material thickness may give each glass its own individual appearance. As a result, the color effect may also vary subtly from one glass to another.
The glass set was designed by Frederike Martens. With its understated color and clean lines, it blends harmoniously into a variety of table settings. The two champagne coupes are part of the BELO glassware collection, which is complemented by a water carafe with a glass lid.

About
Trained as an industrial designer with a particular emphasis on glass and ceramics at the Design School in Halle, Germany, Frederike Martens (born 1987) has a rare talent for pure and strikingly simple shapes, and a preference for colours that will stand the test of time. With her impeccable sense of balance and proportion, Frederike work displays a special sensitivity to how materials work, both alone and together. However, for the young designer the practical usability of any given item is equally important. The Sablo tableware line, comprising 18 distinct items, was her first design project for blomus – and has now been followed up by the Ceola vase.
