Product description
The set of 4 BELO drinking glasses in Coffee, each with a capacity of 280 ml, combines a gentle silhouette with expressive glass details. Designed by Frederike Martens, the drinking glasses are made of glass and feature a solid-colored glass body with a clear stem. This creates a subtle contrast between the warm Coffee tone and the transparent lower section.
Flow lines, small bubbles, and slight variations in material thickness give each glass an individual appearance. As a result, the color effect may also vary subtly within the four-piece set. The cut and polished rim provides a clean finish to the softly shaped glass bodies.
With their understated color, the glasses are suitable for a beautifully set table and a variety of beverages. The set includes four glasses, each with a capacity of 280 ml. As part of the BELO glassware collection, it reflects the series’ characteristic combination of a solid-colored glass body, clear stem, and soft, elegant shapes. The collection is complemented by a water carafe with a glass lid.

About
Trained as an industrial designer with a particular emphasis on glass and ceramics at the Design School in Halle, Germany, Frederike Martens (born 1987) has a rare talent for pure and strikingly simple shapes, and a preference for colours that will stand the test of time. With her impeccable sense of balance and proportion, Frederike work displays a special sensitivity to how materials work, both alone and together. However, for the young designer the practical usability of any given item is equally important. The Sablo tableware line, comprising 18 distinct items, was her first design project for blomus – and has now been followed up by the Ceola vase.
