Product description
On a coffee table or kitchen countertop, it provides a stylish setting for displaying fruit. It can also be used purely as a decorative bowl, where it makes an impact all on its own. Its flat design keeps the arrangement looking neat and uncluttered, while the curved contour lends a distinctive sense of dynamism to the overall composition. This allows the model to complement both minimalist and more characterfully furnished interiors.
The design was created by Nicolai Fuhrmann, who designed the decorative bowl series for blomus in 2007. With its distinctive silhouette and Burned Metal finish, the bowl is a characteristic piece of the ONDEA series.

About
Nicolai Pierre Fuhrmann (born 1966) graduated from the Braunschweig University of Art with a degree in industrial design. He spent his first years lending his talents to a number of independent design studios – The Jorge Pensi Design Studio in Barcelona, Continuum in Milan and Milani in Zurich – before returning to his native Germany to set up his own Cologne-based studio in 2004.
Fuhrmann’s work focuses on products with a purpose, and his designs must have a practical use as well as functioning in such a way as to encapsulate the concept of movement as both visual expression and bodily experience. He designs his pieces so as to create seamless interaction between product and user – to Fuhrmann, functionality and focus on detail are equally important.
