Made of ceramic, VELA impresses with a pleasantly high-quality feel and a matte surface that makes candlelight appear especially soft. The holder is suitable for candles with a diameter of 22 mm and provides them with a secure, beautifully shaped place. With minimal effort, it creates an atmosphere that looks elegant both in everyday life and on special occasions.
The candle holder was designed by Nina Thöming, who combines reduced lines with a strong sense of presence in VELA. The design feels minimalist, yet remains warm and homely—a distinctive detail for modern interiors.
As part of the VELA series, the black version can be beautifully combined with other colors and shapes to create individual islands of light and decorative arrangements.

About
Designer Nina Thöming (b. 1984) is an employee of the German design studio Flöz Design, which has been a reliable partner of Blomus for 15 years. With a background in industrial design, Nina Thöming works systematically.
She starts her work process with research and by finding out the requirements and needs of the market. This is followed by the creative process of applying this knowledge to beautiful, but also functional, interior design items. The Pilar tableware series and the Sono bathroom accessories are her previously known products for blomus.
