Product description
Bench – ENGAWA – in Oak is a minimalist bench made of oak. The warm Oak hue and the raw wood surface place the material’s natural appearance at the forefront. Clean lines and a reduced design language define the creation by designer Carsten Gollnick.
As a wooden bench, ENGAWA offers practical seating for a variety of living areas. It can also be used as a low table: A vase, selected books, or other decorative objects find a suitable place on its generous surface. Depending on requirements, the bench can therefore take on either a functional or decorative role in the room.
The consistently simple design is inspired by the Japanese design tradition. The name ENGAWA also draws on a term from Japanese culture and refers to the relationships between furniture, space, and use. The bench is part of the ENGAWA furniture series, which also includes two side tables and a stool.

Care Instruction:
Our wooden items are carefully crafted for indoor use and deserve to be protected from extreme temperatures and moisture. Avoid potential damage by wiping up spillages immediately to prevent warping or staining. For optimum care and a particularly long service life, we recommend the use of polishes or oils specifically formulated for the different types of wood. To support the longevity of our wooden products, they should be wiped regularly with a soft cloth moistened with lukewarm water.
