Product description
Made from high-quality ceramic, the plate impresses with a pleasant feel and everyday practicality. The light beige shade Moonbeam appears warm and understated at the same time, presenting food in a stylish way without drawing attention away from it. A matte exterior meets a softly glossy glaze on the inside, creating an interesting yet harmonious contrast. Practical for daily use: the plate is dishwasher-safe and microwave-safe.
PILAR was designed by Nina Thöming, whose design approach combines clean shapes with a special sense of sensuality. The result is a piece of tableware that feels modern yet remains timeless.
Combined with other plates, bowls, and mugs from the PILAR series, you can create a cohesive table setting—subtle, high-quality, and versatile.

Care Instruction:
Stoneware is made from clay, quartz, or minerals such as calcite and belongs to the group of ceramic products. Typical items made from stoneware include plates, bowls, planters, and dishes, which are shaped through a casting process and fired at very high temperatures ranging from about 970 to 1320 degrees Celsius. Thanks to this intense firing process, stoneware is more durable than regular clay and less translucent than porcelain. The final colors are strongly influenced by the firing temperature and duration, giving each piece its own individual structure and unique shading.
Since stoneware is not naturally waterproof, it is usually glazed. This makes it stable, durable, and perfectly suitable for everyday use – as is the case with our PILAR series. However, slight cutlery marks may appear on stoneware items over time. This is not a defect but a completely natural process, as the glaze is fired at a lower temperature than the ceramic body underneath, allowing subtle traces to develop with use.
Our PILAR tableware is dishwasher safe and can also be used in the microwave.
