Product description
The BELO set of 2 red wine glasses in Coffee, each with a capacity of 600 ml, brings an expressive touch of color to the table. The generously sized glass bowls are tinted entirely in Coffee, while the clear stems create a subtle visual contrast. The result is an elegant interplay of warm color and transparent elements.
Soft silhouettes define the shape of the glasses. The cut and polished rim provides a clean finish. Small irregularities such as fine flow lines, bubbles, or minimal variations in material thickness may be visible. As a result, the color effect may vary slightly from one glass to another.
Whether enjoyed during a shared dinner, on special occasions, or with a quiet glass of red wine, this set of two provides the perfect setting for stylishly served drinks. The design by Frederike Martens is distinguished by its combination of a colored glass bowl and a clear stem. Both glasses belong to the BELO glassware collection.

About
Trained as an industrial designer with a particular emphasis on glass and ceramics at the Design School in Halle, Germany, Frederike Martens (born 1987) has a rare talent for pure and strikingly simple shapes, and a preference for colours that will stand the test of time. With her impeccable sense of balance and proportion, Frederike work displays a special sensitivity to how materials work, both alone and together. However, for the young designer the practical usability of any given item is equally important. The Sablo tableware line, comprising 18 distinct items, was her first design project for blomus – and has now been followed up by the Ceola vase.
