2-Piece SABLO Thermal Mug Set in Savannah, 250 ml: The two ceramic thermal mugs are suitable for tea, coffee, and other hot beverages. Each mug has a capacity of 250 ml, making it perfect for short breaks at the breakfast table, at your desk, or in between.
The Savannah color defines the set’s calm appearance. Individual textures and shades may cause slight visual variations on the surface of each mug. Designed by Frederike Martens, the collection combines a clean design with the distinctive ceramic look of the series.
After use, the mugs can be conveniently cleaned in the dishwasher. The thermal mug set includes two mugs, making it a suitable choice for enjoying coffee and tea together. As part of the SABLO series, the thermal mugs can be combined with other items from the collection.

About
Trained as an industrial designer with a particular emphasis on glass and ceramics at the Design School in Halle, Germany, Frederike Martens (born 1987) has a rare talent for pure and strikingly simple shapes, and a preference for colours that will stand the test of time. With her impeccable sense of balance and proportion, Frederike work displays a special sensitivity to how materials work, both alone and together. However, for the young designer the practical usability of any given item is equally important. The Sablo tableware line, comprising 18 distinct items, was her first design project for blomus – and has now been followed up by the Ceola vase.

Our SABLO series is made of high-quality stoneware, with different colors that can be beautifully combined with one another.
Stoneware is made from clay, quartz, or minerals such as calcite and belongs to the group of ceramic products. Typical items made from stoneware include plates, bowls, planters, and dishes, which are shaped through a casting process and fired at very high temperatures ranging from about 970 to 1320 degrees Celsius. Thanks to this intense firing process, stoneware is more durable than regular clay and less translucent than porcelain. The final colors are strongly influenced by the firing temperature and duration, giving each piece its own individual structure and unique shading.
Since stoneware is not naturally waterproof, it is usually glazed. This makes it stable, durable, and perfectly suitable for everyday use – as is the case with our SABLO products. However, slight cutlery marks may appear on stoneware items over time. This is not a defect but a completely natural process, as the glaze is fired at a lower temperature than the ceramic body underneath.
Our SABLO tableware is dishwasher safe and can also be used in the microwave.
