Product description

The Rechargeable LED Light – TAWA – Color Stone – Size M is a rechargeable lamp designed to create atmospheric lighting indoors and outdoors. Inspired by traditional lanterns, its distinctive shape combines a precisely crafted aluminum body with a textile outer shell that allows the soft light to shine through. The Stone color accentuates its clean, calming design.

An integrated handle makes the cordless LED light easy to carry. For charging, it connects via a magnetic port. A touch button on the top serves to switch the light on and off and adjust its brightness. This allows the lighting ambiance and intensity to be customized directly on the lamp.

The design by kaschkasch combines aluminum, synthetic fiber, and plastic to create a balanced mix of materials. With its compact size M, the light is suitable for a variety of lighting situations where a portable light source is desired. The TAWA light combines characteristic lantern elements with a minimalist design language and functional details from the eponymous series.

About

The German design studio kaschkasch was established in 2011 by Florian Kallus (born 1983) and Sebastian Schneider (born 1985). Since then, the two designers have been a strong voice on the international design scene.

The duo works within the creative fields of art direction, furniture and lighting design, servicing a number of international brands. Kaschkasch is primarily known for simple yet refined designs, and for Florian Kallus and Sebastian Schneider’s continuous exploration of the interplay between functionality and beauty. The studio has received numerous awards, among them the prestigious Red Dot Award for the Ani lamp for blomus in 2019 and the German Design Award Special for the Stay outdoor range in 2021.
