The MODO pedal bin completes the minimalist and timeless bathroom series by German designer Nina Thöming. It has a capacity of 3 litres and a removable bucket with a handle so that it can be emptied or transported hygienically. The lid disappears visually into the housing and the oval pedal triggers the lifting mechanism. The lid closes particularly quietly and discreetly thanks to the soft-close function. A special feature of the lid is a built-in carbon filter. This not only binds the moisture produced, it also reduces unpleasant odours. The charcoal filter can be purchased separately and easily replaced.
The housing is made of powder-coated metal and is as simple as it is elegant.

Designer Nina Thöming (b. 1984) is an employee of the German design studio Flöz Design, which has been a reliable partner of Blomus for 15 years. With a background in industrial design, Nina Thöming works systematically.
She starts her work process with research and by finding out the requirements and needs of the market. This is followed by the creative process of applying this knowledge to beautiful, but also functional, interior design items. The Pilar tableware series and the Sono bathroom accessories are her previously known products for blomus.
We recommend regular cleaning with a cloth moistened with lukewarm water. Avoid using abrasive or chemical cleaning agents, as these can permanently damage the surface. After cleaning, the surface should be thoroughly wiped dry with a cloth to avoid water stains or streaking. Only use soft cloths for cleaning and care.
