Product description
The steel housing looks premium and clean, while the removable plastic insert with handle makes emptying especially easy and hygienic. The discreet pedal allows the lid to be opened comfortably without having to touch the bin. The soft-close function ensures it closes gently and almost silently. An integrated charcoal filter helps absorb moisture and reduce unpleasant odors; if needed, it can be replaced easily.
The MODO pedal bin was designed by Nina Thöming, who combines a reduced formal language with everyday functionality. The distinctive Burned Metal surface gives the accessory a modern, sophisticated presence. This allows the pedal bin to blend harmoniously into the MODO series and adds a practical detail with a strong design focus.

About
Designer Nina Thöming (b. 1984) is an employee of the German design studio Flöz Design, which has been a reliable partner of Blomus for 15 years. With a background in industrial design, Nina Thöming works systematically.
She starts her work process with research and by finding out the requirements and needs of the market. This is followed by the creative process of applying this knowledge to beautiful, but also functional, interior design items. The Pilar tableware series and the Sono bathroom accessories are her previously known products for blomus.
