Product description
Made from oiled oak veneer with a lively, natural appearance, the shelf brings a pleasant wood texture to the clean metal frame and creates a harmonious contrast between cool lines and homely warmth. SUKOYA was designed by Kazushige Miyake, whose design combines the clarity of Japanese form with functional flexibility. The shelf can be positioned freely within the shelving frame, allowing for a custom arrangement that adapts to your everyday needs.
As part of the SUKOYA series, this shelf insert expands the shelving unit with practical usable space while also emphasizing the calm, architectural character of the system.

About
Japanese designer Kazushige Miyake (b. 1973) graduated from Tama Art University in Tokyo with a specialization in design. He then began his career as a product designer in Great Britain before returning to Japan in 1999.
