The 2-seater Open End, left TASI in Desert is a sofa that creates space for relaxation while maintaining a stylish, clean look. With its open left side, it invites you to stretch out, but also offers a comfortable seat for conversations, reading, or a quiet evening for two.
The Kvadrat Melange Nap cover is made of 97% combed virgin wool and 3% nylon – pleasantly soft, yet durable and dimensionally stable for everyday use. The warm, sandy Desert shade brings calm to modern living spaces and can be easily combined with wood, stone, or metal. As a two-seater sofa, the module fits perfectly into smaller living areas, but works just as well as part of a spacious lounge area.
Designed by the kaschkasch design studio, TASI combines precise proportions with an inviting, homely feel – understated, but with a noticeable sense of sophistication.
As part of the TASI series, the element can be flexibly combined with other modules, allowing it to grow with your interior design ideas.

About
The German design studio kaschkasch was established in 2011 by Florian Kallus (born 1983) and Sebastian Schneider (born 1985). Since then, the two designers have been a strong voice on the international design scene.
The duo works within the creative fields of art direction, furniture and lighting design, servicing a number of international brands. Kaschkasch is primarily known for simple yet refined designs, and for Florian Kallus and Sebastian Schneider’s continuous exploration of the interplay between functionality and beauty. The studio has received numerous awards, among them the prestigious Red Dot Award for the Ani lamp for blomus in 2019 and the German Design Award Special for the Stay outdoor range in 2021.

Care Instruction:
Vacuum regularly using an attachment suitable for upholstery fabrics, preferably on a weekly basis. Remove stains immediately.
Remove liquids or dried residues using an absorbent cotton cloth or a spoon/scraper. Remove non-greasy stains by gently dabbing with a lint-free cloth or sponge wrung out in clean, warm water. Avoid water marks by gently dabbing the stain in a circular motion from the outside toward the center using a clean, lint-free cloth. Remove greasy stains using appropriate cleaning agents or solvents. Always test stain removal products on an inconspicuous area first. Allow the fabric to dry completely before use.
Warning: Do not rub the material vigorously, as this may cause color loss and damage the pile. Exercise particular caution when using solvents, as they may dissolve the upholstery material beneath the textile surface. Under no circumstances should undiluted cleaning agents, bleach, ammonia, or soaps intended for hard surfaces be used. These instructions are provided as recommendations only and cannot guarantee complete stain removal. To ensure satisfactory results—especially for large stains—we recommend contacting a professional dry-cleaning service. It is important to state whether the stain has already been treated.

It has been tested according to European and British standards such as BS 5852 Part 1 and EN 1021-1/2, which assess the fire behaviour of upholstered furniture when exposed to cigarette and small flame sources.
It also complies with Australian specifications such as AS/NZS 3837 Class 2 and AS/NZS 1530.3, as well as US standards such as ASTM E84 Class A (Unadhered) and Class B (Adhered) and California Bulletin 117-2013.
In addition, the material meets requirements such as IMO FTP Code 2010 Part 8, UNI 9175 1IM, NF D 60 013 and SN 198 898 5.3, making it suitable for demanding applications.
With appropriate treatment, higher classifications such as BS 5852 Crib 5 and EN 13501 B-s2, d0 can also be achieved.
