L'inspiration pour cette série de tapis est venue du designer japonais Kazushige Miyake dans les jardins paysagers secs de Kyoto, appelés « Karesansui ». Des motifs sont ratissés dans le gravier, rappelant les courants tourbillonnants d'une rivière et symbolisant ainsi la beauté naturelle et la sérénité de la nature. Ce tapis n'imite cependant pas simplement le style "Karesansui", le designer a plutôt cherché à traduire l'essence des jardins dans un design qui s'intègre bien dans des intérieurs modernes. La combinaison de lignes droites et de cercles exprime l'aléa de la nature et crée une atmosphère relaxante, apportant harmonie et un accent unique aux espaces calmes.

Le tapis est composé de viscose et convient grâce à sa surface douce à l'aménagement de votre espace de vie ou de votre chambre. La viscose combine les caractéristiques positives du coton et de la soie, et est non seulement douce et douce pour la peau, mais aussi durable. De plus, le matériau est certifié Ökotex, garantissant une chaîne de production durable et une gestion responsable des ressources. Pour préserver votre tapis aussi longtemps que possible, nous recommandons de le passer régulièrement à l'aspirateur ou de le battre. Designer: Kazushige Miyake

À propos

Japanese designer Kazushige Miyake (b. 1973) graduated from Tama Art University in Tokyo with a specialization in design. He then began his career as a product designer in Great Britain before returning to Japan in 1999.

In 2005, he founded his own design studio. Today, Miyake Design is synonymous with clear and functional product design, from lounge chairs to suitcases, always with the discerning consumer in mind. Miyake favors simplicity and straightforwardness in his designs, and believes that every object has its own form. 

This form is not limited to its physical presence, but also includes the aura or atmosphere that surrounds the object and its effect on those who use it.

Kazushige Miyake has received a number of prestigious design awards, including the iF Design Award, the Red Dot Design Award and the Good Design Award. Today, he is a member of the evaluation committees for both the Good Design Award and the iF Design Award.
