Made from easy-care plastic and complemented by silicone, it impresses with a pleasantly matte feel and soft, flowing lines. The lid opens comfortably with a foot pedal and closes gently and quietly thanks to the Smart-Close function—ideal for relaxed morning or evening routines. The removable inner bucket makes emptying and cleaning easier and makes everyday use especially uncomplicated.
The pedal bin was designed by Nina Thöming, who created a design for blomus that naturally combines functionality and homely aesthetics. In classic White, SONO blends harmoniously into bright, minimalist, or naturally styled bathrooms. As part of the SONO series, the pedal bin can be perfectly combined with matching bathroom accessories and creates a coherent, calm overall look.

About
Designer Nina Thöming (b. 1984) is an employee of the German design studio Flöz Design, which has been a reliable partner of Blomus for 15 years. With a background in industrial design, Nina Thöming works systematically.
She starts her work process with research and by finding out the requirements and needs of the market. This is followed by the creative process of applying this knowledge to beautiful, but also functional, interior design items. The Pilar tableware series and the Sono bathroom accessories are her previously known products for blomus.
