Made from solid concrete and clear glass, the design combines a tangible sense of quality with a pleasantly minimalist look. CALMA was designed by Nina Thöming, who created an object with a keen sense for proportions, material contrasts, and modern home aesthetics—one that appears understated yet still immediately catches the eye. The combination of clean form and urban character gives the design its special presence.

About
Designer Nina Thöming (b. 1984) is an employee of the German design studio Flöz Design, which has been a reliable partner of Blomus for 15 years. With a background in industrial design, Nina Thöming works systematically.
She starts her work process with research and by finding out the requirements and needs of the market. This is followed by the creative process of applying this knowledge to beautiful, but also functional, interior design items. The Pilar tableware series and the Sono bathroom accessories are her previously known products for blomus.
