The CEOLA vase in the color Rain Forest makes a modern statement in your home with its calm, deep green presence. Crafted from high-quality ceramic and standing 25 cm tall, it offers plenty of space for individual branches, lush floral arrangements, or as a stylish standalone object on a table, sideboard, or windowsill. The finely textured surface emphasizes its natural character and gives the flower vase a pleasant feel as well as a lively appearance with subtle color nuances.
Designed by Frederike Martens, CEOLA combines a gently curved, organic shape with a contemporary, minimalist design. Inspired by traditional Japanese metal vases, its balanced silhouette conveys calm and a sense of craftsmanship without appearing overpowering. Small irregularities in the surface and color are intentional and make each piece unique. In the CEOLA series, this vase fits harmoniously into a cohesive overall look and can be beautifully combined with other sizes and colors.

About
Trained as an industrial designer with a particular emphasis on glass and ceramics at the Design School in Halle, Germany, Frederike Martens (born 1987) has a rare talent for pure and strikingly simple shapes, and a preference for colours that will stand the test of time. With her impeccable sense of balance and proportion, Frederike work displays a special sensitivity to how materials work, both alone and together. However, for the young designer the practical usability of any given item is equally important. The Sablo tableware line, comprising 18 distinct items, was her first design project for blomus – and has now been followed up by the Ceola vase.
