Product description
Vase -CEOLA- in the color White, with a height of 18 cm, stylishly showcases flowers and individual branches. Made of ceramic, the vase features a matte, rough-glazed surface that beautifully highlights the understated White color. Its rounded, organic silhouette is complemented by a narrow neck. This creates a focused arrangement in which blossoms and branches can be presented upright.
With a height of 18 cm, the CEOLA vase is ideal as a decorative accent on the dining table, sideboard, shelf, or windowsill. Even without an elaborate bouquet, its clean form makes a strong statement: individual flowers, small bouquets, or carefully selected branches can be deliberately showcased in it. Designed by Frederike Martens, its shape draws on the distinctive form of traditional Japanese metal vases and reinterprets it in ceramic.
The vase belongs to the CEOLA series, which includes various shapes and sizes united by the same design featuring a rounded silhouette and narrow neck.

About
Trained as an industrial designer with a particular emphasis on glass and ceramics at the Design School in Halle, Germany, Frederike Martens (born 1987) has a rare talent for pure and strikingly simple shapes, and a preference for colours that will stand the test of time. With her impeccable sense of balance and proportion, Frederike work displays a special sensitivity to how materials work, both alone and together. However, for the young designer the practical usability of any given item is equally important. The Sablo tableware line, comprising 18 distinct items, was her first design project for blomus – and has now been followed up by the Ceola vase.
