Product description

If you ask the designer Peter Lienhart, the technical and practical aspects of a product are just as important to him as its visual appearance. With its simple shape, inspired by traditional European lighthouses, the Farol lamp provides a soft light that is always pleasantly and discreetly present, but never dominant or insistent.

The mobile LED light FAROL FLOOR conjures up a gentle lighting mood wherever you are.

Thanks to the integrated rechargeable battery, the light can be used flexibly indoors and outdoors – even in heavy rain. It is operated by briefly touching the center of the lampshade. This controls three brightness levels as well as switching on and off; an additional dimming function provides cozy light. After a burning time of 9 to 47 hours (depending on the brightness), the lamp can be easily recharged using the included magnetic USB cable.

The weatherproof lamp is available as a small and elegant table version – ideal for your desk and bedside table – and as the classic FAROL Floor model, which is perfect for lighting a cozy corner of your living room.

About

Peter Lienhart (born 1969) has a degree in industrial design from Pforzheim University in Germany, and this is discernibly the starting point for his well-defined aesthetic vision – one where the purity of a shape will always be paramount, and any detail must have a clear purpose.

His considerable experience with product design and strong focus on the technical aspects of any home item have made him the perfect designer of lighting solutions such as the new Farol lamp for blomus.
