Product description

The DROP Smoke vase, Ø 19 cm, brings a modern lightness to your home with its soft smoke tint and distinctive teardrop shape. Made from colored glass, it impresses with a pleasant feel and a stable presence that looks striking both on the dining table and on a sideboard. With its generous diameter, it offers plenty of room for individual branches or loosely tied bouquets, which elegantly cascade outward thanks to the special shape and can unfold their natural dynamism.

Designed by Justyna Poplawska, the vase combines a soft, organic character with a clear, precise design. The flowing body stands in exciting contrast to the cleanly crafted rim and gives the object a calm, high-quality appeal. This makes the DROP vase not only the perfect frame for flowers, but also a stylish home accessory in its own right. Combined with other sizes and colors in the series, it creates a harmonious overall look with timeless appeal.

About

Polish-born Justyna Poplawska was educated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, Poland, and at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Design, in Copenhagen. She started her career as a designer with a particular interest in glass and was trained in the traditional craft of glass-blowing.

Her special ability to imbue mass-produced objects with a handmade feel has become her trademark. Justyna Poplawska is widely acknowledged as a new and interesting voice in the international design industry, and her work has been supported by grants from the Danish Arts Foundation, Danmarks Nationalbanks Jubilæumsfond and Otto Bruuns Fond.
