The CEOLA vase in the color Satellite brings small floral arrangements, single blooms, or delicate branches beautifully into focus with its height of 13 cm. Made of ceramic, it impresses with a pleasantly matte, slightly rough glazed surface and a shape that radiates naturalness and calm. The narrow neck keeps stems upright and supports an elegant, clean presentation—ideal for the dining table, sideboard, or window area.
Designed by Frederike Martens, CEOLA combines an organic silhouette with a restrained design ethos. Inspired by traditional Japanese metal vases, the design feels both timeless and modern. Small irregularities, fine lines, and slight variations in color are intentional features of the craftsmanship and give each vase its own character.
In this way, the CEOLA series blends harmoniously into a variety of interior styles and creates a fitting stage for flowers, branches, and seasonal décor in every size.

About
Trained as an industrial designer with a particular emphasis on glass and ceramics at the Design School in Halle, Germany, Frederike Martens (born 1987) has a rare talent for pure and strikingly simple shapes, and a preference for colours that will stand the test of time. With her impeccable sense of balance and proportion, Frederike work displays a special sensitivity to how materials work, both alone and together. However, for the young designer the practical usability of any given item is equally important. The Sablo tableware line, comprising 18 distinct items, was her first design project for blomus – and has now been followed up by the Ceola vase.
