The CEOLA vase in the color Satellite brings calm and character into your home immediately with its clear design language and a height of 21 cm. As a ceramic vase, it offers the ideal size for a single favorite bloom, small bouquets, or decorative branches, and thanks to its narrow neck it keeps the stems upright and secure. This allows every arrangement to stand out in especially harmonious fashion.
Designed by Frederike Martens, CEOLA combines an organically curved silhouette with a refined sense of timeless design. The inspiration from traditional Japanese metal vases is evident in its balanced form, which feels natural yet remains modern. The matte, textured surface emphasizes the vase’s authentic character and gives it a subtle, lively depth.
Minor irregularities and slight variations in color are intentional and make each piece unique. Combined with the different sizes in the CEOLA series, they create a stylish arrangement that fits flexibly into the living room, dining area, or entryway.

About
Trained as an industrial designer with a particular emphasis on glass and ceramics at the Design School in Halle, Germany, Frederike Martens (born 1987) has a rare talent for pure and strikingly simple shapes, and a preference for colours that will stand the test of time. With her impeccable sense of balance and proportion, Frederike work displays a special sensitivity to how materials work, both alone and together. However, for the young designer the practical usability of any given item is equally important. The Sablo tableware line, comprising 18 distinct items, was her first design project for blomus – and has now been followed up by the Ceola vase.
