The CEOLA vase in the color Nomad, with a height of 21 cm, beautifully showcases natural arrangements with calm elegance. Made of ceramic, it impresses with a pleasantly matte, slightly rough surface and a shape that presents flowers, grasses, or single branches securely and upright. The narrow neck supports the contents and ensures that even simple bouquets appear especially well balanced.
The series was designed by Frederike Martens, who combines an organic silhouette with a clear, timeless expression. Inspired by traditional Japanese metal vases, the design harmoniously unites a handcrafted feel with modern restraint. Small irregularities and subtle color nuances emphasize the individual character of each vase.
Whether on a sideboard, dining table, or open shelf, CEOLA adds subtle accents while blending effortlessly into a variety of interior styles. The vase looks especially beautiful when combined with the other shapes in the CEOLA series.

About
Trained as an industrial designer with a particular emphasis on glass and ceramics at the Design School in Halle, Germany, Frederike Martens (born 1987) has a rare talent for pure and strikingly simple shapes, and a preference for colours that will stand the test of time. With her impeccable sense of balance and proportion, Frederike work displays a special sensitivity to how materials work, both alone and together. However, for the young designer the practical usability of any given item is equally important. The Sablo tableware line, comprising 18 distinct items, was her first design project for blomus – and has now been followed up by the Ceola vase.
