Product description
The upholstery fabric, Kvadrat Melange Nap made from 97% combed new wool and 3% nylon, feels pleasantly premium, is durable for everyday use, and at the same time adds a fine, lively texture. The upholstery is supported by a pared-down molded wood frame that elegantly encloses the back and armrests and rests on a wooden base in a natural oak tone. The result is a comfortable place for reading, relaxing, or enjoying quiet moments in the living room.
The piece was designed by Kazushige Miyake, who combines clean lines with soft grace, creating a design that feels understated yet immediately present. The right-facing version offers a generous lounging surface and blends harmoniously into individual interior concepts.
As part of the MOCO series, this model stands for modular elegance, personal freedom in design, and a contemporary design language with a distinctive lightness.

Care Instruction:
Remove liquids or dried residues using an absorbent cotton cloth or a spoon/scraper. Remove non-greasy stains by gently dabbing with a lint-free cloth or sponge wrung out in clean, warm water. Avoid water marks by gently dabbing the stain in a circular motion from the outside toward the center using a clean, lint-free cloth. Remove greasy stains using appropriate cleaning agents or solvents. Always test stain removal products on an inconspicuous area first. Allow the fabric to dry completely before use.
Warning: Do not rub the material vigorously, as this may cause color loss and damage the pile. Exercise particular caution when using solvents, as they may dissolve the upholstery material beneath the textile surface. Under no circumstances should undiluted cleaning agents, bleach, ammonia, or soaps intended for hard surfaces be used. These instructions are provided as recommendations only and cannot guarantee complete stain removal. To ensure satisfactory results—especially for large stains—we recommend contacting a professional dry-cleaning service. It is important to state whether the stain has already been treated.
Material information
It also complies with Australian specifications such as AS/NZS 3837 Class 2 and AS/NZS 1530.3, as well as US standards such as ASTM E84 Class A (Unadhered) and Class B (Adhered). In addition, the material meets the requirements of US California Bulletin 117-2013, an important benchmark for indoor furniture and upholstery materials.
Further tests such as UNI 9175 1IM, NF D 60 013, SN 198 898 5.3 and the maritime standard IMO FTP Code 2010 Part 8 underline its suitability for demanding commercial and hospitality applications.
With appropriate treatment, higher classifications such as BS 5852 Crib 5 and EN 13501 B-s2, d0 are also achieved, making the product suitable for areas with particularly stringent fire safety requirements.
