Product description
Made from high-quality ceramic, it impresses with a noticeably premium feel and a glossy glaze that gives the soft gray tone a particularly refined appearance. The softly rounded shape feels understated, yet far from ordinary—it lends the set table a harmonious, contemporary look and suits both a relaxed breakfast and a stylish coffee break.
VAHLO was designed by Sebastian Herkner, whose design philosophy combines fine details, clean lines, and everyday practicality. The distinctive form subtly sets itself apart from classic round tableware shapes and creates a unique impression. Combined with other pieces from the VAHLO series, it creates a cohesive overall look for a modern table setting.

About
German Sebastian Herkner (born 1981) pursued Product Design at HfG Offenbach University of Art and Design. Herkner was the Guest of Honour at imm cologne 2016, where he shaped the exhibition ‘Das Haus’. In 2019, Maison&Objet named him Designer of the Year, and in 2021 he clinched Milan's most prestigious design accolade, the EDIDA award for Best Designer of the Year. In 2022, he curated alongside luminaries like Robert Wilson, Judith Clarke, Michele de Lucchi and Naoto Fukasawa at Homo Faber, commissioned by the Michelangelo Foundation in Venice.
