Product description
The flat shape in size M offers a stable base while also leaving room for small decorative accents around the candle. The slightly raised pedestal subtly showcases the candlelight, while the broad dish shape helps protect surfaces from dripping wax. In this way, VELA combines a atmospheric ambiance with everyday functionality.
The candle holder was designed by Nina Thöming, whose design approach combines clean lines, sensual materials, and a harmonious formal language. The warm New Wheat tone feels understated yet inviting—ideal for relaxed evenings, festive table settings, or lovingly arranged still lifes. Combined with other colors and sizes in the VELA series, it creates an individual lighting ensemble with the elegant blomus signature.

About
Designer Nina Thöming (b. 1984) is an employee of the German design studio Flöz Design, which has been a reliable partner of Blomus for 15 years. With a background in industrial design, Nina Thöming works systematically.
She starts her work process with research and by finding out the requirements and needs of the market. This is followed by the creative process of applying this knowledge to beautiful, but also functional, interior design items. The Pilar tableware series and the Sono bathroom accessories are her previously known products for blomus.
