Product description

The ROPE rechargeable LED light in Coal is a battery-powered lamp for indoor and outdoor use. Its minimalist body gains a distinctive texture from the wrapped ropes, allowing the light to emerge into its surroundings with expressive shadow effects. Steel and polyester satin define the material combination and emphasize the design’s distinctive character.

As a cordless LED lamp, ROPE can be flexibly placed wherever atmospheric lighting is desired. Three brightness levels make it possible to adjust the lighting effect to suit different situations—from a subtle accent to more intense illumination. The clear form and dark Coal color give the lamp a modern, understated appeal.

ROPE was designed by the design studio kaschkasch. The unusual use of ropes combines a minimalist visual language with a decorative interplay of light and shadow. As a result, the rechargeable LED light creates a distinctive design accent within the ROPE series, whether switched on or off.

About

The German design studio kaschkasch was established in 2011 by Florian Kallus (born 1983) and Sebastian Schneider (born 1985). Since then, the two designers have been a strong voice on the international design scene.

The duo works within the creative fields of art direction, furniture and lighting design, servicing a number of international brands. Kaschkasch is primarily known for simple yet refined designs, and for Florian Kallus and Sebastian Schneider’s continuous exploration of the interplay between functionality and beauty. The studio has received numerous awards, among them the prestigious Red Dot Award for the Ani lamp for blomus in 2019 and the German Design Award Special for the Stay outdoor range in 2021.
