Made of ceramic, VELA impresses with a pleasant feel, solid quality, and a matte-looking surface that reflects candlelight especially softly. The oval shape gives the design a distinctive presence without appearing intrusive, and it is suitable for candles with a diameter of 22 mm. Designed by Nina Thöming, VELA combines functional clarity with a fine sense for proportion and the effect of materials. As part of the VELA series, the candle holder can be beautifully combined with other colors and shapes—for individual arrangements with a harmonious design signature.

About
Designer Nina Thöming (b. 1984) is an employee of the German design studio Flöz Design, which has been a reliable partner of Blomus for 15 years. With a background in industrial design, Nina Thöming works systematically.
She starts her work process with research and by finding out the requirements and needs of the market. This is followed by the creative process of applying this knowledge to beautiful, but also functional, interior design items. The Pilar tableware series and the Sono bathroom accessories are her previously known products for blomus.
