Product description
Made from polyresin with 50% recycled content, the material impresses with its robust, durable quality and pleasantly stone-like surface. In everyday use, KUA stands out with thoughtful functionality: the inner bucket can be easily removed for emptying, the pedal allows hygienic opening without hand contact, and the soft-close function closes the lid gently and almost silently. This makes it comfortable and unobtrusive to use.
Designed by Anton Björsing, the pedal bin features a clear, architectural form language. Its column-like silhouette appears compact yet elegant, while the flush-fitting lid emphasizes the minimalist look. It is this precision in design that makes KUA more than just an everyday object.
As part of the KUA series, the pedal bin blends harmoniously into a well-thought-out bathroom or living concept, combining durable materials with contemporary aesthetics.

About
Swedish designer Anton Björsing (born 1983) graduated from Stenebyskolan and Carl Malmsten Furniture Studies in Stockholm in 2012. He also pursued interior and spatial design at London's Chelsea College of Art and Design.
In the years since his graduation, Björsing has forged close collaborations with several of Sweden's most celebrated product and furniture companies. Despite his initial grounding as a trained cabinetmaker, with a great understanding of wood's intrinsic qualities, his curiosity, knowledge of materials and willingness to embrace challenges have propelled him to explore a vast array of materials.
Björsing’s design philosophy is firmly rooted in the Scandinavian tradition, although he simultaneously pushes the boundaries of convention to unearth new design possibilities. His aim is to craft products that resonate with people, seamlessly marrying form and function.
