The ENGAWA bench in oak is a stylish seating bench made of oak that enhances any room with its calm presence. The natural wood creates a warm, authentic look while also impressing with its durability in everyday use. Whether in the hallway, at the dining table, or as a flexible extra in the living area: its clean shape offers a comfortable seat and can just as easily be used as a low shelf for books, vases, or favorite objects. The furniture was designed by Carsten Gollnick, who follows a reduced design approach with Engawa, placing material and function equally at the center. His aim: a piece of furniture with timeless appeal that remains understated yet still shows character. The FSC-certified wood adds a responsible use of resources to this approach. The result is a piece that looks modern, is designed to last, and fits naturally into a wide range of living situations. As part of the Engawa series, the bench combines Japanese inspiration with German design clarity.
