Product description
Upholstered with Kvadrat Melange Nap made from 97% combed virgin wool and 3% nylon, the surface feels pleasantly soft while remaining dimensionally stable and suitable for everyday use. As a compact single seat, the 1-seater is perfect for reading corners, next to the sideboard, or as an elegant statement piece in the living room.
Designed by Kazushige Miyake, MOCO combines understated lines with an almost weightless expression – strong in design without being loud. Each element is manufactured to order and thus fits harmoniously into your existing interior design concept. The look is rounded off by the award-winning details of the MOCO series, which received the “Best of Design” award from Schöner Wohnen.

About
Japanese designer Kazushige Miyake (b. 1973) graduated from Tama Art University in Tokyo with a specialization in design. He then began his career as a product designer in Great Britain before returning to Japan in 1999.
In 2005, he founded his own design studio. Today, Miyake Design is synonymous with clear and functional product design, from lounge chairs to suitcases, always with the discerning consumer in mind. Miyake favors simplicity and straightforwardness in his designs, and believes that every object has its own form.
This form is not limited to its physical presence, but also includes the aura or atmosphere that surrounds the object and its effect on those who use it.
Kazushige Miyake has received a number of prestigious design awards, including the iF Design Award, the Red Dot Design Award and the Good Design Award. Today, he is a member of the evaluation committees for both the Good Design Award and the iF Design Award.

Care Instruction:
Remove liquids or dried residues using an absorbent cotton cloth or a spoon/scraper. Remove non-greasy stains by gently dabbing with a lint-free cloth or sponge wrung out in clean, warm water. Avoid water marks by gently dabbing the stain in a circular motion from the outside toward the center using a clean, lint-free cloth. Remove greasy stains using appropriate cleaning agents or solvents. Always test stain removal products on an inconspicuous area first. Allow the fabric to dry completely before use.
Warning: Do not rub the material vigorously, as this may cause color loss and damage the pile. Exercise particular caution when using solvents, as they may dissolve the upholstery material beneath the textile surface. Under no circumstances should undiluted cleaning agents, bleach, ammonia, or soaps intended for hard surfaces be used. These instructions are provided as recommendations only and cannot guarantee complete stain removal. To ensure satisfactory results—especially for large stains—we recommend contacting a professional dry-cleaning service. It is important to state whether the stain has already been treated.
Material information
It also complies with Australian specifications such as AS/NZS 3837 Class 2 and AS/NZS 1530.3, as well as US standards such as ASTM E84 Class A (Unadhered) and Class B (Adhered). In addition, the material meets the requirements of US California Bulletin 117-2013, an important benchmark for indoor furniture and upholstery materials.
Further tests such as UNI 9175 1IM, NF D 60 013, SN 198 898 5.3 and the maritime standard IMO FTP Code 2010 Part 8 underline its suitability for demanding commercial and hospitality applications.
With appropriate treatment, higher classifications such as BS 5852 Crib 5 and EN 13501 B-s2, d0 are also achieved, making the product suitable for areas with particularly stringent fire safety requirements.
