The set of 2 GANO tea towels in Mourning Dove and Cedar Wood brings calm color and modern texture to everyday kitchen life. With its balanced mix of two different designs, these tea towels quickly become stylish helpers by the sink, when drying dishes, or for lining freshly washed glasses.
Made from 100% organic cotton and measuring 70 x 50 cm, the towels offer plenty of surface area, feel pleasant in the hand, and impress with their highly absorbent waffle piqué structure. The prewashed material reliably absorbs moisture, dries quickly, and remains comfortably grippy even with regular use.
GANO was designed by Frederike Martens, who creates a clean, contemporary look through the interplay of block and stripe patterns. The harmonious combination of Mourning Dove and Cedar Wood appears understated yet distinctive—ideal for kitchens where function and design naturally go hand in hand.
The fact that the organic cotton used is GOTS- and OEKO-TEX-certified subtly underscores its premium quality. As part of the GANO series, the towels can be wonderfully combined with other textiles from the collection and add a cohesive accent to any kitchen.

About
Trained as an industrial designer with a particular emphasis on glass and ceramics at the Design School in Halle, Germany, Frederike Martens (born 1987) has a rare talent for pure and strikingly simple shapes, and a preference for colours that will stand the test of time. With her impeccable sense of balance and proportion, Frederike work displays a special sensitivity to how materials work, both alone and together. However, for the young designer the practical usability of any given item is equally important. The Sablo tableware line, comprising 18 distinct items, was her first design project for blomus – and has now been followed up by the Ceola vase.
