Product description
The upholstery fabric, made of 97% combed new wool and 3% nylon, gives the model a pleasantly soft feel, a high-quality appearance, and everyday durability. The kvadrat Melange Nap fabric underscores the warm depth of the Desert color, while the molded wood frame in a natural oak tone provides stability and lends the design a light, almost floating presence.
MOCO was designed by Kazushige Miyake, whose signature is reflected in the clean lines, balanced proportions, and understated sophistication. The back and armrests appear precisely defined, while the softly upholstered cushions create a gentle, inviting contrast.
The result is a sofa element that effortlessly combines comfort and design and blends harmoniously into the modular living concept of the award-winning MOCO series.

Care Instruction:
Remove liquids or dried residues using an absorbent cotton cloth or a spoon/scraper. Remove non-greasy stains by gently dabbing with a lint-free cloth or sponge wrung out in clean, warm water. Avoid water marks by gently dabbing the stain in a circular motion from the outside toward the center using a clean, lint-free cloth. Remove greasy stains using appropriate cleaning agents or solvents. Always test stain removal products on an inconspicuous area first. Allow the fabric to dry completely before use.
Warning: Do not rub the material vigorously, as this may cause color loss and damage the pile. Exercise particular caution when using solvents, as they may dissolve the upholstery material beneath the textile surface. Under no circumstances should undiluted cleaning agents, bleach, ammonia, or soaps intended for hard surfaces be used. These instructions are provided as recommendations only and cannot guarantee complete stain removal. To ensure satisfactory results—especially for large stains—we recommend contacting a professional dry-cleaning service. It is important to state whether the stain has already been treated.
Material information
It also complies with Australian specifications such as AS/NZS 3837 Class 2 and AS/NZS 1530.3, as well as US standards such as ASTM E84 Class A (Unadhered) and Class B (Adhered). In addition, the material meets the requirements of US California Bulletin 117-2013, an important benchmark for indoor furniture and upholstery materials.
Further tests such as UNI 9175 1IM, NF D 60 013, SN 198 898 5.3 and the maritime standard IMO FTP Code 2010 Part 8 underline its suitability for demanding commercial and hospitality applications.
With appropriate treatment, higher classifications such as BS 5852 Crib 5 and EN 13501 B-s2, d0 are also achieved, making the product suitable for areas with particularly stringent fire safety requirements.
